KCU Conference Update and Food Packing

Kentucky Christian University hosted their own International Conference on Missions in early September. Hands & Feet Project had the opportunity  to attend and host a table alongside other mission organizations from across the world. We got to talk with KCU students about where they’re from, what they’re studying, and what their passions are.

It was an honor to share the mission and vision of Hands & Feet Project with those who stopped by our table. We handed out plenty of candy and Casino cookies (a very popular packaged cookie in Haiti) and gave Haiti Made leather bracelets to students and staff who signed up for our newsletter! Sara, our Relationship & Development Coordinator, also had the opportunity to speak in a Counseling class. One of the most exciting parts of the conference was the meal packing event on Wednesday that was hosted by Lifeline Christian Mission – from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., students, faculty, and staff from KCU packed thousands of nutrient-rich meals that will be delivered to Haiti for our Hands & Feet Project family. We are grateful beyond words for this blessing!
