The Difference You're Making

Our Projects are the ways we function as the hands and feet of Christ, by Providing Families, Preserving Families, and Empowering Communities. Each item on the Project Essentials page is just that–an item essential in equipping us to fulfill our mission and allowing us to care for the people we serve. 

These gifts represent more than just the items themselves–they represent an investment in the lives of vulnerable children, families, and communities in Haiti, providing us with the supplies we need to serve them with excellence. Each item is impactful, and no gift is too small or too mundane to make an impact. In Mark 12, Jesus watches worshippers giving their gifts at the temple, and among them is a poor widow with only two copper coins to give. Yet, He tells His disciples that her gift amounts to more than that of everyone who gave from their wealth. In the same way, each gift is valuable and impactful not only to the people we serve, but to the heart of God.

The price of each gift represents a selection of items grouped together to make up that gift, and certain gifts contain multiples of a specific item. Each gift is priced carefully and with intention, designed to best serve our projects and the people within them. For example, when you purchase the Lacing Activities gift, that gift contains multiple sets of each toy included, supplying one daycare with enough toys for the children to share and learn together!

Sponsorships are monthly commitments that cover the daily, ongoing needs of the children, families, and daycare classrooms we serve, such as food, school tuition, medical expenses, caregivers, spiritual leadership, and so on. Project Essentials cover operational and capital costs to get programs running and keep them supplied with what they need to stay operational.
