Our Projects are how we live out the Gospel—by Providing Families, Preserving Families, and Empowering Communities. They’re not abstract ideas; they’re boots-on-the-ground efforts to serve vulnerable children and families in Jesus’ name. Each item on the Project Essentials page plays a critical role in making that possible. These aren’t extras or nice-to-haves—they’re the practical, tangible pieces that equip us to carry out our mission with consistency, compassion, and strength.
How are these gifts impactful?
These gifts carry more weight than meets the eye. A toy, a book, a bag of rice—each one is a lifeline disguised as something ordinary. They become the tools that allow us to serve with dignity, consistency, and love. And just like the widow with two copper coins in Mark 12, the value of a gift isn't in its size, but in the heart behind it. Every gift, whether simple or significant, matters deeply—not just to the people we serve, but to the heart of God.
Why are items set at these prices?
We price each item with intention—grounded in what it truly takes to source, deliver, and use these tools effectively in the field. Some gifts, like the Lacing Activities set, are bundled with enough materials to equip a whole daycare. Others, like a pair of sturdy school shoes, are stand-alone items with an outsized impact. In every case, we’ve counted the cost so that your giving meets real needs with real outcomes.
How is this different from what sponsorships cover?
Sponsorships are vital. They help cover the everyday needs—meals on tables, tuition paid, medicine in reach, and godly care for each child and family. But not every sponsorship is fully funded. That’s where Project Essentials comes in. These gifts help us bridge the gap, covering the operational and capital costs that keep our programs alive and thriving. They help us show up—every day—with what’s needed to serve the most vulnerable with excellence, hope, and unwavering love.
