Disaster Relief

On August 14, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck southwest Haiti, killing over 1,000 people, injuring thousands, and causing widespread building destruction and damage. Just a couple days later, Tropical Depression Grace swept through the nation, bringing with it disastrous amount of flooding.

Support the Relief Effort

We are thankful to report that our campuses in Jacmel and Grand Goave are safe. We were not affected by the earthquake, and only experienced some flooding. However, there are many great organizations doing work on the ground in communities that were affected by the earthquake and flooding. Their planes have landed in Port-au-Prince filled with the supplies for meeting emergency needs.

They are flying relief cargo and people into Haiti
