BE THE CHANGE

Be The Change Youth Initiative is a L3C (low profit LLC) focused on inspiring young leaders to action by encouraging them to use their gifts and talents to create change through advocacy and fundraising. For her 15th birthday, Sydney Guerrette (pictured above at Hands and Feet in Haiti) wanted to raise enough money to sponsor a child’s wish through Make-A-Wish Maine. It was a big dream, and knowing that it would be difficult to raise the $7000 alone, Sydney rallied her friends to join her. Some participated in local races asking friends and family to sponsor them, while others helped Sydney produce a song and design a shirt. It took six months, but through persistence, collaboration, and hard work, they raised the $7000, and Be The Change Youth Initiative was born.

Thanks for joining our Be the Change, one of our Bridge partners, to help care for children in Haiti.

GIVE TO HANDS AND FEET

In January 2017, Sydney traveled to Franklin, Tennessee to visit her favorite musical group, All Sons and Daughters, as part of a fundraiser for The Hands and Feet Project. During that visit, Sydney was introduced to Mark Stuart. Seven weeks later, she traveled to Haiti with The Hands and Feet Project—and the rest is history. Haiti captured Sydney's heart, and today she aims to help other kids and youth learn and be a part of what God is doing in this country. Thank you for supporting and encouraging this next generation of World Changers as they work to use their gifts to inspire and empower others.
